smart.network™ began as an in-house project for the folks at Valley Internet, a small internet service provider in the wine country of rural Northern California.
With limited resources, Valley Internet sought out a solution that would reduce support calls, eliminate wasteful truck rolls, elevate the conversation with customers, and help provide excellent customer service. That solution was smart.network!
At first, we focused on the subscriber-app, a tool to allow customers to self-troubleshoot network issues, and with that reducing both the Number of Incidents to the helpdesk and shortening the Time To Resolution (MTTR.)
We soon realized the importance of improving the tools for the agents back in the office, so we developed the smart.board app; A three seconds network visibility tool that makes customer conversations more productive, provides task automation, network mapping, detailed diagnostics, historical data, and so much more.
